I kind of think you either are a Hat Gal, or you're not... and I'm definitely one!
Right now, I'm on the hunt for a leather hat, a la Kate Middleton's (she's a definite Hat Gal!), and think I've found a pretty good match thanks to Orvis.

I wear a big floppy brown hat at the beach and in the garden (sometimes a baseball cap), and of course, a new fabulous hat for the racetrack each summer!
Side note - I love Orvis (blame my flyfishing addiction).

t's hard to find hats that fit (small head), but I love the one Kate Middleton is wearing. So cool!
I want to be a hat girl, but I am also a hair girl, and I can't get the two wishes to co-exist! It seems I must choose between cute hair or wearing a cute hat. I do love the hat Kate is wearing!
Love Kate! But I can only pull off winter hats unfortunately.
