Simple Pleasures... French Press Coffee

Why is the ritual of making a french press with delicious coffee so wonderful?

I love not fussing with a coffee maker in the morning, and boiling water is about as simple as it gets, so I guess my preference should come as no secret. And the ease of the french press, and the tastiness that ensues, makes made me very happy this morning.

How do you like your coffee?

Yep, I'm a french press-er too. So easy, and the most delicious coffee with the perfect crema on top! Though I probably shouldn't admit it, we have four different french presses in our kitchen (the "deluxe" Bodum Chambord with it's own little neoprene jacket, a Bodum press that makes exactly two servings, a Bodum espresso press, and a Bodum milk frother).

I love it! The milk frother sounds like something I've gotta get!

I'm almost embarrassed to admit how many coffee-making gadgets I have. I have a drip coffee maker, a french press and a traditional Italian espresso maker (the kind that perks on the stove). I love them all, but the french press makes the smoothest coffee.

Love the stove top espresso!

I also enjoy sticking my leftover morning coffee in the fridge... grabbing my iced coffee late in the day is heavenly and the french press keeps it super rich and fresh.
