On the Way to Cape May...

Happy (almost) Friday! I'm taking a much needed day off tomorrow, packing up the pups, and heading to Cape May, NJ... a pretty little Victorian town very close to my family's beach house (I know, I'm a lucky duck!).

Bry is meeting me up there and we're staying at the most incredible boutique hotel, The Virginia. Being at the beach in the winter is heavenly and so very peaceful... not to mention super gorgeous.

And I may be planning a couple of things while I'm there... but more about that at a later date!

I just adore Cape May--I spent summers nearby in Delaware and we always visited Cape May a few times a summer. Enjoy your weekend! :)

Ooh, sounds so fun! I'm very jealous, I don't get to travel nearly as much as I would like :-( Can't wait to hear more about all the "planning" that may or may not be happening! Safe travels darling.

My family has a beach house there too! And I'm pretty sure my cousin's wedding reception was at The Virginia. Have fun, but pack layers, I'm sure its cold there!

It's nice to see people appreciate the other "Jersey Shore". I love it, and the beaches are gorgeous. I'm a big fan of winter at the beach, too. Lots of layers and books galore. So glad to find your blog!

Oh, I'm so jealous! I love Cape May! (Although I've never been in the winter.) It's quaint and charming, with so many wonderful places to eat. I hope you dined at the Ebbitt Room while you were at The Virginia!

The Virginia was beyond... and dinner in the Ebbitt Room was fabulous.

I can't wait to tell you all about it, but for now thank you SO much for the wonderful comments!
