I'm mildly obsessed with Jonathan Adler's Utopia Mermaid/Sailor buckets. And I kinda want to give the Sailor bucket a hug!

Best part... in my quest for wedding registry sanity, I've discovered that I can register at Jonathan Adler! Oh happy day!

Peachy for Milly....

The peachy hues and rich jewel tones from Milly's Fall Collection are totally speaking to me... especially when paired with classic cords.

Pumpkin picking, tailgating, crisp air, and apple cider cocktails are also totally speaking to me. Fall on the brain!

Can I Add Sanity to My Wedding Registry...

Last night, I met Bry at Bloomingdales to attempt setting up one of our wedding registries. Um... I love to shop, but registering for your wedding is no easy task!

We both had our own places before we moved in together, and we're pretty basic people (the Prep in us!) when it comes to using and loving items that were handed down to us from grandparents, etc. So the thought of asking for friends and family to buy us things that we won't look at and instantly think of them is super tough.

I'd love any thoughts on wedding registries... especially since the Alessi Melodic Kettle tops my list so far!

It has been one hell of a week here in the Mid-Atlantic area, and I'm happy to report no major damage in my world. Hope you all can say the same.

Got to say, I am ready to say farewell to summer and embrace the Fall with open arms. It is my fave season after all... and hopefully the weather will be gorgeous and the earth will be quake free!

Prippy Dining... Chester County, PA

Chester County, PA. horse country is becoming a fine dining destination for the best of reasons... amazing locally grown food and gorgeous ambiance. Just look at Talula's Table , widely considered one of the toughest reservations in the country, to see how people travel near and far to dine on mushrooms from the farm up the road.


This Prippy bastion happens to be in the area where I was fortunate enough to grow up, and this weekend I was back home for a wonderful bridal shower for a dear friend. For her Bachelorette Party, she opted for a classy evening out starting with a fabulous dinner at Catherine's. The mushroom and crab soup cannot be missed.


If you ever are looking for a weekend escape, check out this gorgeous area made famous in Andrew Wyeth paintings. Take in a horse race, enjoy some of the best food around, and then close the day out with a pint at the local watering hole, The Whip Tavern.

And best wishes to the bride to be! It was a wonderful celebration of a beautiful couple.

Late Summer Cocktail... Prosecco and Aperol

Summer seems to be racing to an end, and I'm trying to soak up as much sun and fun as possible.

And why not celebrate the final weeks of summer with the perfect late summer cocktail... Aperol and prosecco over ice. Heavenly!


Aperol is a delicious Italian blood orange liquor with a bitterness perfectly suited to the mild sweetness of prosecco.

Give it a try and toast these lazy August days!

Brooklyn Flea Recap...

We had a great day at the Brooklyn Flea in Williamsburg... and despite the rainy forecast, the sun prevailed!

If you haven't been to this location before, it is right along the East River and the perfect place to spend the day.


Liz, from Octavia & Brown, had wonderful vintage bar and table top items that sold like hot cakes! I loved styling the displays and engaging with the endless flow of fabulous browsers.


We had so much fun that we will be doing it again in September... and I will be joining Liz in selling my curated selection of vintage clothing and jewelry treasures.


I cannot wait! And I promise to give everyone plenty of advance notice as to the exact date so that you can come out and visit.
