Appreciating Actor... Nicholas Hoult

About a Boy is one of my all time favorite movies. I've seen it countless times, and I still get emotional thinking about the relationship between young Marcus and the crazy adults that surround him.

Well, the amazingly talented little boy, Nicholas Hoult, who played Marcus is all grown up... and I was thrilled to discover him as Kenny in Tom Ford's hauntingly beautiful film, A Single Man.

After appearing in the fun summer flick X-Men: First Class, I'm excited to see where he will pop up next.

And I'll always remember him as young Marcus singing "Killing Her Softly."

About A Boy is one of my favs too! It's well done from the story that pulls on your heartstrings to the chic settings to the Badly Drawn Boy soundtrack. I nearly lost it when I saw "Marcus" in A Single Man. Wow he's grown up! I doubt I'll see the X-Men flick, but I look forward to the update.

Weird, I just watched About a Boy last week. He was such a cute kid. Those blue eyes are killer.
