Dear Prippys,
I'm off to Boston on Friday... and I would love to know if you have any favorite spots for me to check out. I have some free time before my dear friends get hitched Saturday, and I will be staying right off of Copley Square.
So please let me know about any hidden gems!
Warmest wishes,
TG

As a BC alum I will say ... simply strolling on Newbury is fantastic, definitely a stroll on the common if its a pretty day. Stephanies on Newbury is great for brunch!
Dave and I are heading to Boston in a few weeks, too! I love that city, and we almost bought a place not far from where you will be staying. If it is hot, try JP Licks (on Newbury Street) for ice cream. At night, grab drinks at the top of the Prudential Center (right off Copley Sqaure, on Boylston). There are two great used bookstores near Boston Commons - Brattle Book Shop is MASSIVE and has lot of antique/hard to find books (on West Street), and Commonwealth Books is also a cool little shop, near the Anethaeum, King's Chapel Cemetary, and Old South Meeting House (on Spring Street). Is you have a little extra time, definitely check take the T to Brookline and eat at Zaftigs, and if you don't, just grab a coffee and enjoy the park in Copley Square (watch all the little kids play on the Tortoise and the Hare statue and in the fountain, or on the statues outside the Boston Library). Have a blast!
LL - Thanks for the recs! I have heard great things about Stephanies and I definitely hope to check it out. What a gorgeous place to go to school!
Deanna - Wow! I feel like you just gave me a full tour! Can't wait to hear about your trip, too... and I will definitely check these spots out. Thank you. xo
