Popcorn Worthy... Going the Distance
I just saw a preview for cutey Drew Barrymore's new film, "Going the Distance," and I'm SO excited to get my popcorn on!
Seriously, the premise already has me intrigued... a couple meets with only six weeks left in the same city (NYC) before the girl moves to San Francisco.
When I met my boyfriend, I was living in NYC and had been offered an amazing job in San Fran just as my company was a sinking ship in the sea of the financial crisis. Needless to say, we had many a long talk... and I ultimately made the choice that was best for me by moving to DC.
I can't wait to see how this story plays out!
Have you ever done the long distance thing? How'd it work out?

Yep. Um, it worked for awhile. A few years. From DC to Middle East. Whoa. Not good, in long run, it's just not. No matter what people say. You don't want to have an argument about anything...so often, you don't speak up about anything. (On both sides) Then, it's often too late to repair.
Le sigh... it always seems to work for a while... and then things fall apart.
I've been in a few long distance relationships prior to Bry, and I found that problems that would have surfaced sooner had we been in the same city, took much longer to come out in the open. Live, love, and learn.
With Bry, I wasn't going to risk spending time with him for a job across the country... just couldn't justify the decision.
married him, after a year apart!
Love it!!!!
Love it!!!
