Chester County, PA. horse country is becoming a fine dining destination for the best of reasons... amazing locally grown food and gorgeous ambiance. Just look at
Talula's Table , widely considered one of the toughest reservations in the country, to see how people travel near and far to dine on mushrooms from the farm up the road.
This Prippy bastion happens to be in the area where I was fortunate enough to grow up, and this weekend I was back home for a wonderful bridal shower for a dear friend. For her Bachelorette Party, she opted for a classy evening out starting with a fabulous dinner at
Catherine's. The mushroom and crab soup cannot be missed.
If you ever are looking for a weekend escape, check out this gorgeous area made famous in
Andrew Wyeth paintings. Take in a horse race, enjoy some of the best food around, and then close the day out with a pint at the local watering hole,
The Whip Tavern.
And best wishes to the bride to be! It was a wonderful celebration of a beautiful couple.
